Course Description

In this class, have fun making a pair of perfectly fitting jeans.  Johanne will teach you the ins and outs of ready to wear jeans.  You will learn how to full fell seams, hem pockets, make belt loops, assemble a front fly just like manufacturers do!  Don’t delay register today as space is limited.


About Johanne

Johanne Brousseau has been involved in the sewing industry since 1979.  She started as a pattern maker/designer at a local jean company (Lee Jeans in North Bay).  In 1986, Johanne founded Creation Unique, a couture studio that custom made evening and bridal wear.  The store evolved to sewing custom skating/dancing/gymnast costumes.  In 1992 Creation Unique offered sewing classes and fabric, notion, and sewing machine sales to its growing customer base.  In 1997 she was invited to teach at the Creative Festival and has been a regular since.

In 2007 Johanne sold Creation Unique and now dedicates her time to teaching and sharing her passion for sewing.
